Audio Cables FAQ

How long can cables be?

The longer the cable the more likely the signal will be lost. Where possible, we would recommend using 10 meter cables or less to avoid any loss in signal, However we would recommend no more than 20 meters, the longer the cable the better sound quality should be.

Can you daisy chain cables together to make them longer?

Yes! You can join cables together to make them longer, however if using audio cables, please bare in mind that you could loose sound quality if over a certain length, so we would recommend to get a longer cable rather than joining them together.

Can I buy a connector to repair a cable I already have?

Of course! The audio connectors we sell are ready to be soldered onto a cable, so if you just cut the end off that has the dodgy connector and replace it with a connector from our online store!

Whats the advantages of using a stagebox or Multicore at a venue?

The advantages are you can set up your mixer at the back of the venue and control the sound levels, weather you are a sound engineer, or weather you have a roadie, having the mixer out front of the band can improve the sound levels and can be adjusted on the fly!
