Choosing Your Perfect DJ Lighting Stand

There are so many types of lighting stands with so many options out there. 

The two most common types of light stand are T-bar stands and truss stands.

T Bar Stands

T-bar type stands consist of a foldable tripod stand with a perpendicular bar. This bar will have pre-drilled holes, and relevant bolts and wing nuts. 

Most T bar stands are designed to hold four lights, and the maximum weight capacities are determined by price. You can check the product specifications for this information!

Truss Stands

DJ truss stands or “bridges” are two tripod stands with two-section triangular truss lengths. They normally come in two 5ft lengths and join in the middle for a 10ft span. This not only reinforces the strength, but to allow lots more lighting fixtures to be fixed to the stand. You could even add a T-bar on each end of the truss stand for even more real estate.
