Microphone Stands, Boom Arms & Desk Stands

Find microphone stands for vocals, instruments, desks and recording setups. Compare full-height boom stands, low stands, round bases and desk mounts, then check the height, reach, thread and load requirements of your microphone.

Which microphone stand do you need?

Vocals and general stage use

A boom arm helps position a microphone in front of a performer or around an instrument. The Pulse microphone stand with boom arm has a folding tripod base, adjustable height of 1000–1700mm and an 800mm boom. Check the space around the legs and the position you need before choosing.

Low instruments and amplifiers

A full-height vocal stand may be awkward near a bass drum or low cabinet. The Pulse low boom stand is listed at 460mm high with a 525mm boom. Its listing specifies that the microphone, microphone clip and cable are not included.

Round-base and desktop options

The Pulse round-base microphone stand adjusts from 890–1590mm and has a 248mm-diameter base. For desk work, compare the Pulse mini desktop stand with the Citronic studio desk boom. The Citronic listing specifies a 550g maximum load and a 50mm clamp aperture; check your microphone and mounting accessories against those limits.

Check clips, threads and mounting space

Confirm whether the stand uses a 3/8-inch or 5/8-inch thread and whether an adapter and microphone clip are supplied. Include the shock mount and other accessories when assessing the load. For clamp mounts, measure your desk thickness and check that the mounting surface is suitable.

Stand accessories and drum mounts

This collection also contains holders, clamps and accessories, which are not complete microphone stands. The Soundlab drum-rim microphone clamps are sold as a pair; check their fit for your drum and microphone arrangement. Use the Product Type filter to narrow the range before comparing dimensions.
