The Polar 10 MK2 is designed to keep your setup fast and frustration-free. The system breaks down into three parts: a subwoofer, a spacer and a mid/high column. These stack together using internal connectors, which means there’s no external cabling between speaker sections. Setup takes just a minute, and with a secure mechanical connection, everything locks neatly in place. Whether you’re gigging weekly or running venue AV, this approach saves time and reduces setup errors.

For tight stages or small venues, the spacer can be removed to shorten the height of the column. This is especially useful when placing the unit on a raised surface or platform. Every part of the system is lightweight and easy to handle, with the subwoofer including carry handles and a padded cover. A transport bag is also provided for the column sections, making the Polar 10 MK2 genuinely portable for mobile events, performers and hire stock.

Wireless audio with built-in Bluetooth 5.0

With Bluetooth 5.0 built in, you can stream audio directly to the Polar 10 MK2 from a phone, tablet or laptop. This is ideal for background playlists, interval music, or any event where you don’t want to rely on cables or a separate player. Bluetooth 5 also means stronger signal stability and a much longer range compared to previous generations. For events or venues needing full stereo, you can wirelessly pair two Polar systems using TWS (True Wireless Stereo).

Automatic pairing makes reconnection smooth when powering up the system again. You also have the option to run Bluetooth and auxiliary inputs at the same time, which is handy if you’re switching between streaming and a DJ controller, for example. For larger spaces, Bluetooth can operate up to 40 metres away, depending on conditions. And if you prefer to avoid interruptions from phone calls or notifications, simply mute system sounds on your playback device.

Flexible inputs for live sound and events

The onboard mixer gives you a wide range of connection options, all built into the rear of the subwoofer. Channels 1 and 2 support both microphones and line-level gear using combo XLR/jack sockets. A switch lets you match the input sensitivity to suit your source, whether that’s a dynamic mic, keyboard, or mixing desk. Channel 3 features a Hi-Z input, ideal for electric or electro-acoustic instruments such as guitars and stage pianos.

Channel 4 offers stereo RCA inputs for DJ equipment or playback devices, and also handles Bluetooth audio. Each input has its own volume control for quick balancing on the fly. The system also includes a Mix Out XLR socket, giving you a summed output that can feed additional speakers, a separate monitor, or a recording interface. This kind of onboard flexibility is perfect for solo performers, small bands, and venues looking to run sound without a dedicated mixer.

Clear, customisable sound with built-in DSP

The Polar 10 MK2 includes a 24-bit digital processor with multiple DSP features to fine-tune your sound. A three-band EQ with semi-parametric mid lets you make precise changes based on the room or content. You can also choose from three main modes: Music, Voice, and DJ. These preset curves provide a great starting point for different situations and can be combined with EQ tweaks for even more control over your tone.

Five user memory slots allow you to save different setups, which is ideal if you work across multiple venues or regularly switch between performance types. The DSP settings also include display brightness, contrast and delay functions for distributed setups. Everything is controlled using a single Master knob and a clear LCD display, keeping the interface intuitive. You can also lock the DSP section to avoid accidental changes during use, which is a helpful touch for live scenarios.

Independent subwoofer control for room tuning

To keep your bass under control, the Polar 10 MK2 includes a dedicated Sub level knob on the rear panel. This allows you to adjust the subwoofer output separately from the rest of the system, giving you flexibility in rooms where low frequencies might build up or cause feedback. This is particularly useful when the subwoofer is placed near a wall or corner, where bass reinforcement can easily overwhelm a mix.

By reducing the sub level slightly, you can achieve better clarity and even increase the system’s overall headroom, as the limiter is less likely to engage. The 10” woofer is housed in a bass reflex enclosure and covers frequencies down to 42 Hz, offering tight, musical low end that works well for acoustic acts, DJs and spoken word alike. This kind of bass control is rarely found in systems at this size and makes the Polar 10 MK2 especially venue-friendly.
