It is also a very elegant cable.  The thermoplastic outer screen coupled with the close lapped oxygen free copper wire inner screen, ensure excellent noise rejection and durability. Ideal for on stage use with all instruments; guitars, keyboards and other unbalanced output devices

1 Core & Screen relates to the amount of carrier signals inside the cable, in this case two. This is an unbalanced/mono cable. The first carrier signal is the information signal and the second is the ground/shield.
