Our PA Equipment

PA equipment is used to amplify the human voice.

In the simplest form, a PA system includes a microphone, a mixer, and a speaker. However, your PA equipment can include anything, even including karaoke machines.

The term PA stands for “Public Address”, which is another term for a music or sound system. This term simply means that these are systems that amplify audio signals to make them accessible to many.

In recent years, PA equipment has hugely improved due to increased use of digital technology.

PA Speakers

Our range of PA speakers includes active speakers, passive speakers, subwoofers, monitor speakers, portable PA speakers, and speaker packages.

PA speakers are designed to play audio loudly so it can be heard by a large group of people.

PA speakers can either be passive or active. Active speakers have an internal amplifier, while passive speakers have no internal amplifier and require an external amplifier to produce sounds at a higher volume.

Mixers and Amplifiers

A DJ mixer is a type of audio mixing equipment used by DJs to control and manipulate multiple audio signals. Mixers are used to make seamless transitions from one song to another during a performance.

An amplifier is an electronic device that increases the voltage, current, or power of a signal. An amplifier, or amp, is a device that modulates the amplitude of a sound signal.

Amplifiers can be used with mixers, so you can mix your track and amplify it to your audience.

PA Equipment FAQ

What do you need in a PA system?

There are three major components to a basic PA system: the input, the amplifier, and the output.

The input is something like a microphone which picks up the audio signals. The amplifier amplifies the sound to be played through the output, I.E your speaker.

Do I need an amplifier for a PA system?

Yes!

An amplifier is required as a mixer or DJ controller will not include an amplifier. Amplifiers are required for the audio signals to be increased in volume.

Why is a PA system required?

A PA system is needed to amplify your voice.

While your music plays through your DJ equipment, your microphone input will work through your PA system. For your audience to hear you, y
